Reading Group

Political Justice and the Aftermaths of Violence

Interested faculty and students are invited to participate in a newly constituted reading group at the Centre for Humanities Research, focused on Political Justice and the Aftermaths of Violence. The reading group seeks to provide a space for critical reflection by scholars working on or interested in emergent fields of ethical and political practice in the contemporary world such as Transitional Justice, and New Humanitarianisms. The reading group will discuss a combination of key texts, new scholarship, and work in progress by those who participate in the group. We will meet every two weeks. The group is open to postgraduate students, faculty and policy-researchers.

We meet on alternate Thursdays at the CHR Seminar Room, from 11-1pm.
